Both Parties Spend Like Drunken Sailors

Democrats have never much claimed the mantle of fiscal responsibility. And they don’t deserve it. Republicans have made that claim, and they’re making it again now. But they don’t deserve it, either.

Even though I have a hatred of all things politics, I do think it’s fairly important to call bullsh*t on the 2010 bogus rallying cry that Republicans are the party of fiscal conservatives.

Truth is, neither political party are true fiscal conservatives, even though I’ve recently heard members of both political parties insinuate to be just that. If you believe otherwise, the graphic above illustrating the spending patterns of both political parties when they controlled the Presidency and Congress just shattered your incorrect, albeit, mentally satiable delusion.

#1 Evan :

This graph perfectly illustrates the pure frustration I have with politics. I feel like I am voting for the exact same people!

“I feel like I’m voting for the exact same people!”

My sentiments exactly. The sad thing is that the main stream media news cycle is so hellbent on event driven news, that they fail to realize contemporary American politics is a slow and methodical cancer versus a one election “Change”.
