If you own oceanfront real estate or have a business near the beach that is dependent upon seasonal tourist income, this might be one of the scariest things you’ll ever see… a sunbather wearing a gas mask to keep out the stench of oil.
I’m not on the beach so I don’t know if using a gas mask is justified (probably isn’t), but one must admit, this is a frightening, albeit poignant, image to say the least if you’re concerned about a double dip in Gulf Coast real estate due to the BP oil spill.
Photo information: Sonja Daniel, who has a house on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, wears a gas mask as she sunbathes watching workers clean-up oil along a beach in the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge on June 6, 2010.

Great photo, Matt. You don’t really need to say too much when you see a scene like this. Very scary!
